After airing on the French TV (France 3 and ARTE), the film “Rasputin” was sold to TV channels in more than 60 countries. Then “Rasputin” theatrical version was produced in Russia and it came out in Russian cinemas on November 7, 2013. The theatrical version was very well received by the local public, accumulating 300 000 admissions. That is a good box office result for a historical film in Russia.
