For the past 28 years, the Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema (FICA) has been presenting the works of filmmakers from Asian countries (from the Middle East to the Far East). It has been attended by several prominent filmmakers: Kore-eda Hirokazu, Jafar Panahi, Jia Zhang-ke, Eran Riklis, Brillante Mendoza, Moshen Makhmalbaf, Wang Xiaoshuai, Aktan Arym Kubat, Pema Tseden, Ermek Shinarbaev, Mohamad Rasoulof, Jocelyne Saab, Atiq Rahim and others.
The program of the 28th FICA Vesoul will consist of 90 films from different countries including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Iran. We are proud to announce that our documentary film “My Uzbek Dream” directed by Arnaud Frilley with the help of the TV channel Paris Première, The State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and The embassy of Uzbekistan in Paris, will become part of this program too.
