“Through the Eyes of a Ghost” is a romantic story of the relationship between a French stage actor, Richard, and an Azerbaijani actress, Tamilla.

Richard’s acquaintance with Azerbaijan begins in 1990, when he goes to Baku: he hopes to support the local population in their struggle for independence from the USSR. 

Fifteen years later, in France, Richard meets an Azerbaijani actress, Tamilla, much younger than he is, who is on tour in Marseille. This accidental encounter turns into mutual love…
