“Grand Cancan” is a Russian musical film/drama, based on true events. Participants in these events agreed to portray themselves in the film. « Grand Cancan » is divided into two distinct stories with the same setting: the back-stage of the Moscow Operetta theatre. Human relationships, betrayal and family ties are the same common denominator found in the two parts of the film.
